yet so far

Well I had a feeling this was gonna happen, I
had heard ozzy was ailing and my worse fears were confirmed when I arrived
at the arena in searing heat (98F) so the thermometer outside the venue
said. I have never been front row for sabbs before and you can imagine how
gutted I was to heat ozzy had cancelled. Still front row is front row and
maiden put on a great show, but it was strange to leave by 9.40 pm (the
time the lights came on). I think it might be time for ozzy to limit the
number of shows he does and perhaps the end is in sight. I certainly dont
think back to back nights are a good idea anymore. Im just thankful I saw
the original line up last year. So close and yet so far. I had a lawn
ticket for the first night but gave it away due to prior commitments.
Silly me.
Maiden's extended set list was
Ides of March
Murders in the Rue Morgue
Another Life
The Trooper
Prowler
Revelations
Wrathchild
Run to the Hills
Phantom of the Opera
Number of the Beast
Hallowed be thy Name
Iron Maiden
Encore:
Running Free
Sanctuary
die with your boots was also played, but I dont remember where in the set
list, it was great from the front row let me tell you. |
