I have seen Black Sabbath many, many times. This was such an inspiring, passionate performance….I am really blown away. I kept reading how awful Ozzy’s voice was on this tour; I thought he sounded spot on. Tony Iommi is such a soldier. He just killed it all night. Geezer was also impressive opening N.I.B. with Basically/A Bit of FInger!
Highlights for me had to be hearing many tunes live for the first time:
Under the Sun
Behind the Wall of Sleep
Age of Reason
God is Dead?
End of the Beginning
Rat Salad
Real stnd outs for me.
If you are going…have a great time. Hopefully it won’t be the last time we see them, but you can never take anything for granted in the Sabbath world.
I thought the concert was really good, great to see the band together. They played some really great classics, Ozzy was though off tune for a few songs, and took him a while to come up on tune. Never the less it was a great show.
Iommi was the MVP, with Tommy Clufetos as a runner up the drum solo was jsut amazing and it just goes to show you how awesome a drummer he it. Spot on and never missed a beat. Geezer also rocked it with his opener on N.I.B.
Worth the money!!
The Philadlelphia gig looks like to one to have been at?
