Here’s a press release detailing some info on a forthcoming live Dio DVD. It’s short, but gets the point across. :)
DIO DVD IN THE STARS: (Press Release) New York, NY- RONNIE JAMES DIO is heading back out on the road next week with KINGS X and HAMMERFALL. Touring in support of Killing The Dragon (Spitfire) DIO will record the New York stop for an upcoming DVD scheduled for release in April 2003 on Eagle Vision, a division of Eagle Rock Entertainment. The as yet untitled DVD will be directed by Ken Botelho for Century Productions and will consist of footage from band’s performance at the Roseland Ballroom on Friday, December 13th.
DIO will begin their trek in Portland, OR on November 8th and will continue across the country for the second leg of their tour in support of Killing The Dragon, released May 21st on Spitfire Records.
Spitfire has also recently released a Killing The Dragon (Limited Edition) CD on October 22, 2002. The specially packaged release contains bonus materal including live versions of Ronnie singing "Fever Dreams" and "Rainbow In The Dark" with Deep Purple, the video for "Push" featuring Tenacious D and a DIO screensaver.
