Tony Iommi Solo Information

Work on Tony Iommi’s solo album pushes on. He’s currently writing material with Don Airey. Don last played with Tony on Sabbath’s Never Say Die album in 1978. The solo album will feature multiple vocalists, one of which is the more well known Rob Halford. Also appearing on vocals will be Glenn Hughes (source is an interview with Glenn that appears in Issue 21 of the Glenn Hughes Electronic Newsletter, Coast to Coast). There are to be other vocalists too, but I don’t know who at this time. Also, as an added bonus, Glenn Hughes is playing bass, too! Personally, I’ve been waiting for another collaboration between Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes. I loved Seventh Star. (I don’t know who’s playing drums, though) More personnel info when I hear it.
